About Us

Since 2011, Crosspoint Church has been about making Christ known throughout Phoenix. From the beginning, we have shared the vision of the exhalation of Jesus Christ in our families, the church, and our community. This vision continues to be shared with more people as they join our fellowship.

Our Mission

Crosspoint Church exists to glorify God by making and maturing disciples of Jesus Christ in Phoenix.

Our Core Values

Whether you’re searching for a church near you or looking for answers to life’s biggest questions, you’re welcome at Crosspoint Church.

Christ Centered

As the bride of Christ, we want to please Christ. It is his image that we conform to, it is his glory that we meditate on, and it is his redemptive act on the cross that we point to. “For from him and to him and through him are all things; to him be glory forever. Amen” (Romans 11:36).

Cross Centered

Being Christ-centered also means that we will be cross-centered. Crosspoint Baptist Church exists to “point people to the cross.” If we fail to be “cross pointing” we fail to be an accurate and effective bride to Christ. Christ is not only our life in salvation but he is our life in sanctification. Every day of our corporate and private lives are lived through the power of the gospel. The powerful gospel that saves in Romans 1:16 is the same gospel that the just live by in Romans 1:17.

Scripture Saturated

Because we value our Christ and his cross, we will also value his Word. Every aspect of our worship service will find its center on the Scriptures that speak of our Savior. We will pray, preach, sing, read, and see the Bible in all aspect of corporate life. The prayers that are uttered, the songs that are sung, the selections that are read, the lives that we live, and the messages that we preach will be grounded in the Word of God.

Culturally Concerned

We recognize that we do not live in a vacuum and nor should we seek to operate in one. Crosspoint will be a people committed to reaching the people in our culture with the gospel. Our message and our Christ are culturally relevant and applicable to any culture at any time in history. But as we seek to be relevant to our culture, we cannot become culturally accommodating. It is true of our culture as it was true at the coming of Jesus Christ: “people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.”

We will seek to be culturally redeeming (changing our culture with the gospel) without mirroring the darkness of that culture.

Our Team

Our pastors & staff love the Lord, the Word of God, and the community in and around Crosspoint Church.
